Billy Andrade

Billy Andrade, who played on the PGA TOUR since 1988, was born and raised in Bristol, Rhode Island. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 1987. His PGA TOUR wins include the Kemper Open (1991), The Buick Classic (1991), the J.C. Penney Classic (1991), the Canadian Open (1998), and the Invensys Classic (2000). Billy and Brad Faxon were the recipients of the 1999 Charles Bartlett Award. In 2001, Billy was inducted into the Rhode Island Golf Hall of Fame. The American Heart Association chose Billy and Brad Faxon to receive the 2002 Gold Heart Award in recognition of their charity efforts. Also in 2002, Billy and Brad were chosen to receive the 2002 Ambassadors of Golf Award. In 2004, Billy was inducted into the Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame. Billy won the Fred Meyer Challenge 3 times; in 1992 with Tom Kite, and in 1999 and 2001 with Brad Faxon. Billy resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bristol, Rhode Island with his wife, Jody, and their children Cameron and Grace.
